The therapy was very, very successful for Johannes! He was able to improve significantly once again in all areas. His focus improved, he refined his gross and fine motor skills, his stubbornness decreased, speech comprehension improved, he is able to convert verbal information significantly faster, and he tries more and more to apply the words that he learnt.
Hello, I would like to say a few words about the Dolphin therapy of my son Dardan. I am really happy that we went with the whole family to the Dolphin therapy in Marmaris for the Spring holydays. Everything was good en we were very pleased with everything and the fact that everything went very well with the therapy of Dardan.
The dolphins Flip and Frosia, as the dolphin therapist Barbara, were a real miracle for Dardan. After the first 2 days Dardans fear reduced a lot and in the end he had also lost his fear of deep water. Dardan listened amazingly well to Barbara. She was so good that Dardan gained a lot of trust in a very short time. Because of the therapy, a lot of other things improved as well, for example self confidence, concentration and communication. He has also said so many words, that it really surprised me.
Dardan swam with dolphin Flip, danced with him, stroke him, gave him a kiss. He was so happy with Flip that he didn’t want to let go of him anymore! It was all so good to see. Because of our own experience with the dolphins, I would like to advice other parents to take this step, because it’s really worth for them and their children. Read the rest of this entry »

Dilsah Sue has a brain defect since birth / Through meeting the dolphins she learned to walk
Dilsah Sue is nine years old. She can walk, chew by herself and focus with her eyes. She lets herself be touched and makes noises. That was not always the case. 5 years ago the girl was tube-fed. The Doctors had no hope. But Dilsah Sue dumbfounded all prognoses.
Five years ago the ‘Neue Westfälische’ reported the lot of the little girl for the first time. Dilsah Sue’s family were trying to collect enough money for a Dolphin Therapy. Many people donated and made the alternative treatment possible, which radically changed the life of the family.
Dilsah Sue was a planned child for whom her parents, who do not wish to be named, had waited for 9 years. In the sixth month of pregnancy the Doctors diagnosed a diaphragm hernia. As a result the organs slip into the stomach area and compress the lungs. “We did not know how ill our daughter would be, even if she would survive until birth”, said her mother. Victoria (8) from Saxony thanks all ‘Neue Welt’ donators– The Dolphins have worked a Miracle
Manuela Lenuweit from Priestewitz in Saxony says dolphins are the angels of the seas. And she is still astounded by the immense progress her seriously ill daughter Victoria has made thanks to the gentle animals.
Victoria carefully strokes the dolphin helped by therapist Barbara and trainee Lisa
The eight year old girl cannot eat or drink on her own and sits in a wheel chair. Doctors have been unable to diagnose her malady. Read the rest of this entry »
The young girl could not stand on her own legs. After two weeks of Dolphin Therapy great progress has been made.
Manuela Lenuweit is a happy woman. Without a doubt. The 47 year-old is tanned, the worried look in her eyes has given way to laughter wrinkles and her demeanour radiates newly-won strength. Manuela Lenuweit is above all a happy mother. The mother of eight year-old Victoria, for whom people in Priestewitz, Großenhain and other towns and villages donated a lot of money.
TheSituation was a great burden
A fund-raising campaign mounted by the SZ local editorial office in Großenhain and the Priestewitz community raised over 15.000 Euros. The dolphin therapy in Marmaris, Turkey, cost 9450 Euros which the family were unable to pay. „That was a blow for my husband“, said Frau Lenuweit. „He was always working but so much money was not available for our little one. The situation was continually a burden for us.“ Since the time this was publicized in the SZ on 5 May the life of the worried parents changed considerably. Victoria has made progress, is more balanced and in August was able to kneel. An event for the parents that was like Easter, Birthday and Christmas all on one day.
Then the time arrived. After all the hope and years of waiting the Lenuweits began packing. On September 2 they flew to Turkey. Along with the luggage were not only Summer clothes and toys but also especially lots of wishes. Looking at Manuela Lenuweit today, one can see that these wishes all came true. „Victoria had surprisingly no problems with settling down. Already on the second day she had adjusted to the routines of the Hotel and Therapy Center“, she said. A strictly organized course that, for the blonde girl who is organically healthy, meant a lot of hard work. In the mornings there was Cranio Sacral therapy – a procedure which involves manual pressure on the skull and sacrum. Read the rest of this entry »
I spent a long time with a blank page before me because I was unsure how to put all my thoughts and feelings into words. So many occurences are worth calling to attention, so today I shall write down a few significant thoughts, of which I now know that they describe one of the most meaningful events in our lives.
Nearly 1 ½ years have gone by. More exactly – 15 months – 64 weeks, since we travelled to you – to Daisy – and we both love to look back to this special and intensive time. Not only the positive, and at the same time mystical, emanations of the dolphins worked small wonders. It was the many little aspects of the therapy that helped my daughter and I to master the challenges in our lives and which helped us to cope with the psychological stress of the past.
Today I would like to relate a small miracle:
To this I must add that my little one at this point in time could not utter a sentence.
…We were at the platform again and Jennifer swam with her therapist Barbara and Daisy. As on previous days, Barbara sang the song: Daisy Daisy dance with me… and always encouraged Jenny to sing along. And all of a sudden my daughter began to sing with her. I couldn’t understand it, because I was too far away to hear my daughter’s voice, and Barbara said to Jennifer: Sing louder. And I stood on the secure platform and heard my child! She sang with Daisy, held her flippers and they swam in a circle and MY CHILD sang loud and clear! No she was yelling!!
„Daisy Daisy dance with me, here are my hands, one time there and back, it’s all so easy.“
The whole song and then once again, and I was standing on the pier and crying. I cried so loud that people started looking. My child, who couldn’t speak, who couldn’t form a sentence, was singing the whole song. I couldn’t understand it. I couldn’t believe it. But it was true.
The attached video is of dolphins playing with silver colored rings which they have the ability to make under water to play with. It isn’t known how they learn this, or if it’s an inbred ability.
As if by magic the dolphin does a quick flip of its head and a silver ring appears in front of its pointed beak. The ring is a solid, donut shaped bubble about 2-ft across, yet it doesn’t rise to the surface of the water! Read the rest of this entry »
it seems only yesterday that we returned home from the Dolphin therapy, but in reality nearly two months have passed. We are very thankful for what you did for Kirill during the course. Kirill has progressed a lot since that! He is much more coordinated now, goes on stairs alone, without any help! He tries to jump, rides bicycle (!) and even tires riding scooter (!!) – that’s something I couldn’t even imagine! Also, he helps himself during the meals – eats with a spoon and with a fork (awkwardly, but still he does it!)
nice to see that you have included my report in your web-site.
Jennifer is really flourishing. I’m just starting to train her not to use nappies and she is complying really well. During the day she doesn’t need them at all. Sometimes there is a mishap but we are happy over the progress.
But the best thing is that she sings a lot. Often just on her own, but then I smile inwardly and it gives me a lift to see how she is developing.
I have recently even begun to play Memory with her. With a bit of help it works well. I am really proud. And she beams (more progress) because she will soon start school. No more play school. I give a broad smile back every time…..
So it is again proven, at least for me, what great success one can expect from dolphin therapy. Read the rest of this entry »
This was widely reported in the Press, the ‘Wochenblatt’ , ‘Vilstalboten’ and ‘TZ MÜnchen’ , it was reported in Radio Trausnitz and also on TV on the channels Sat 1 and Pro 7.
What has happened to date : So far our biggest project:
This is Kevin in his mother’s arms and he is laughing so heartily that one simply must laugh with him. This is quoted from Bavaria’s ‘Wochenblatt’: No one knows where he is… Kevin’s Life between worlds Kevin was alert as a child. At one year of age he could walk and spoke his first words. Then there was a tragic accident. Now Kevin lies in a persistent vegetative state, he cannot walk, speak or feed himself. Now he is fed through a stomach tube, he lives between worlds. The doctors said that Dolphin Therapy could be of some help. ‘Lebensfreude e.V.’ (registered charity) started a collection over Radio Trausnitz and the tz-muenchen and also enlisted the help of the Red BavariansDingolfing (FC Bayern Fanclub) and the local papers. In 12 days enough money was collected to fly Kevin and his whole family for 16 days to Kas in Turkey to take part in Dolphin Therapy. Read the rest of this entry »
