Thank you so much for having welcomed us during our stay in Kemer! It was a great, great honor to meet us and it´s an unbelievable pleasure to swim together with Flip. Sibel and me think every day about these exceptional moments. The people make there a great and an important job. When we will have a flat in Kemer, we’ll come next year again, in order to meet the team and flip.

Wake up at 2am on Monday, in the car at 2:30am, in the air at 6am, arrived in Dalaman, Turkey at 8:30am. Then to the Hotel Mares by bus.
Me, Hanni and Leni have our own bedroom. We tried the pool after lunch and went to the Mini Disco after dinner. And then into bed dog-tired.
Hello, I would like to say a few words about the Dolphin therapy of my son Dardan. I am really happy that we went with the whole family to the Dolphin therapy in Kemer for the Spring holydays. Everything was good en we were very pleased with everything and the fact that everything went very well with the therapy of Dardan.
The dolphins Flip and Frosia, as the dolphin therapist Barbara, were a real miracle for Dardan. After the first 2 days Dardans fear reduced a lot and in the end he had also lost his fear of deep water. Dardan listened amazingly well to Barbara. She was so good that Dardan gained a lot of trust in a very short time. Because of the therapy, a lot of other things improved as well, for example self confidence, concentration and communication. He has also said so many words, that it really surprised me.
Dardan swam with dolphin Flip, danced with him, stroke him, gave him a kiss. He was so happy with Flip that he didn’t want to let go of him anymore! It was all so good to see. Dolphin Therapy helped Serge: he smiles, concentrates better and is more alert of his environment.
Haltern: I am awaited. The thirteen year old Serge is excited, beaming at me through his thick spectacles. His mother, Dodo Akpaqnonite, wants to explain who the guest is, but Serge remembers my first visit, he knows why I have come, and he laughs into the camera.
”Serge is looser, more relaxed. He could open his hands and hold the dolphin’s fin. And he smiled a lot”. Dodo Akpaqnonite, Serge’s mother.
The severely disabled boy, who once could not move his arms, sat waiting. ”Hi, how are you?” I could even shake his hand. He grinned at me, which meant ”Everything’s OK”. I met Serge and his mother a year ago. She was tired, but she would not be beaten. Serge could neither concentrate nor coordinate his cramped hands. Even though he was strapped into a wheel chair he was always moving. His head shook with every change in mood. Had his wheel chair not been fully padded he would have been covered in bruises. His mother was constantly removing spittle from his chin. Now she needs to remind him to wipe himself, and usually he can. He can even open his hands.
Ten months ago during my visit he was sitting apathetically in his wheel chair. Now, he wants to ‘join in’ the conversation, laughing, humming, hand movements, rolling his eyes or blinking, he follows our conversation.
The mother related that she arrived back from Turkey on Tuesday. He had been in Kemer for Dolphin Therapy, visiting ‘Flip’, ‘Frosia’ and ‘Jonas’, with his mother Dodo for two weeks. Their stay in Kemer, said the mother, was very good. Read the rest of this entry »
Dear Mr Turgay and the Onmega Dolphin Center team. After returning from Kemer I would like to give you an interim Report. First of all I shall write about changes in Samir during the first month. Samir’s improvement in co-ordination was almost unbelievable. These positive developments were reflected in his work at school. My son, with whom I had great difficulty getting him to walk, now walks without problems. He can concentrate a lot better. Samir now follows all instruc tions from his teacher. Everyone has noticed a wonderful change in Samir.
Dear Mr Turgay, this is mostly your doing – my whole life I shall thankfully think on what you have done for us.
So, it is now time for the Report of our third Dolphin Therapy, from 09.09 – 23.09.2011, in the ONMEGA Dolphin Therapy Center in Kemer, Turkey!
After the very, very good experiences we had in the Dolphin Therapy Center in 2008 and 2009, we were certain that we would return. In December our bookings were made and we were already looking forward……
On 09.09.2011 at long last the time had come, the aircraft flew us south, to the dolphins !!
As Leon had his therapy bicycle with him this time, we had booked a special Transfer through the Therapy Center, which worked very well. After a short wait we drove from the airport in Dalaman straight to the Club Turban Hotel in Kemer. We were so pleased with the Hotel last time we decided to stay there again. Everything there is suitable for children and the disabled, and the staff is really kind.
The weather was, apart from 2 rainy afternoons, super; sunshine and a temperature of 40°C, not so hot as in July. Just right for us after the bad Summer we had at home.
After 2 days relaxing on the beach, on Monday we started Leon’s therapy program. We had met Barbara on the platform the day before….. Leon recognized Barbara straight away, we were all happy and the atmosphere was warm and friendly as it had been in previous years. As if we had never left. Read the rest of this entry »

Thank you for the wonderful time my son Waldemar and I had with you. We thank wholeheartedly the whole Onmega Dolphin Therapy Center team in Kemer. The team was very kind. We would like to especially thank the following persons:
Waldemar danced, played, sang and swam with Flip during the therapy. I noticed results straight away and am looking forward to further developments. Through the therapy Waldemar has become more concentrated, alert and happy. The Dolphin Therapy was a great experience for Waldemar, one that he really enjoyed. Waldemar did not want to fly home, he wanted to stay with the dolphins. Waldemar looks at the photos and watches the video joyfully every day and has very positive memories of the wonderful time in Kemer. We would love to repeat the therapy with you.
