Emanuel-Syndrome: Leon’s dolphin therapy report

We really miss the lovely time we had in Marmaris and hope that we can come again in the coming years.

At the weekend we met fanilies who also had children with Emanuel syndrome, like my son Leon. That was very interesting and a large number of these families had also decided to give this therapy a try. Everyone was impressed with Leon’s development and the great therapies with you played a big part in that.

Apart from that, Leon is doing very well in school. He did find it difficult at first but now he’s really getting on well with it. He is communicating more and using a mixture of gestures and speech. We are constantly amazed at how much he can really understand and achieve.

Dolphin Therapy improves Concentration and Fine Motor Skills in Sophie

The Dolphin Therapy for Sophie the end of September/beginning of October 2014 was very enjoyable for all of us. The therapy was successful. Sophie’s body is no longer quite so tense. Her gait pattern is improved, she is able to concentrate better, and also her fine motor skills, for instance when coloring, are vastly improved.

Olivia’s therapy exceeded our expectations

Olivia had dolphin therapy in September 2014. Our expectations were not high, I just hoped, that even if I do not see changes in her behavior, maybe something changes inside her. It was not important to me to see a miracle, more important was, that she could understand and feel the world better after therapy. One was sure – she will love those 2 weeks with dolphins

An unforgettable day as a Dolphin Trainer

In June of 2014 one of my dreams came true. I’ve always wanted to meet a dolphin and swim with him. During our summer vacation in 2014, I and my husband were able to spend a wonderful day in the Dolphin Therapy Center in Marmaris.

Axel Linke’s team greeted us warmly and accompanied us relaxed and happy through the day. Time and again we were able to observe the care and love with which they work with the animals.

As preparation, the trainers gave us much information about the dolphins, and contact with the animals was handled step by step. The dolphins appeared quite calm and curious to us. Axel Linke also provided us with much background information regarding the Dolphin Therapy Center and dolphin therapy.

The final high point of the day was swimming with the dolphin that was part of my program “Dolphin Trainer for a Day”. Because I was able to experience the atmosphere around the dolphin all day long, the dolphin swim was an extremely intensive experience for me.

The impression we came away with was the competence and love with which the dolphins are treated. The well-being of the dolphins is ensured by great attention to their needs.

A big Thank You to Axel Linke and his team for an unforgettable day in the Dolphin Therapy Center Marmaris!

Dolphin therapy for Maxime

Maxime has been on therapy in October 2012. Her concentration is better and she moves better. We have in Holland also Cranio Sacral Therapy and her physiotherapist and on school she looks more alert and she understands more. We have bought a small dog for her and she loves it.

Dolphin Therapy of Marty

We arrived in Bulgaria! We want to thank you very much for working with Martin! We are very impressed by the professionalism of your team – Igor is incredible!

Marty feared many of the dolphin, gradually overcame his fear and finally have had a good friendship! Thank you and Sema for therapy, this is new for us. We want to find such specialists in cranio-sacral therapy and in Bulgaria to continue if you have any information, you will be grateful!

Hippotherapy was magnificent, Sally is amazing, has great love for children, Feliz – too. Thanks to Diana and physio therapy. There have been some changes in Marty. After a month we will write what happened to Marty after the dolphin therapy. Then I will share them with you specifically. Thank you again! We hope we have more meetings with you! We send as attachment a photo that is evidence of successful work of Igor!

Dolphin Assisted Therapy of Annika

First of all, Annika is 13 years old and weighs only 25kg! But she is a pack of muscles, very resilient and mostly very happy!

We booked through Delfintherapiereisen Megasport in Germany. That was very simple. At the beginning of the year I sent an e-mail stating the dates I wanted and travelled at the beginning of the Summer holidays. Megasport sends all the supporting documents per e-mail – one can also print them and fill them out at leisure! As I had a few questions I phoned them up and everything was answered, very nice and friendly. I can recommend that.

Dilsah Sue has a brain defect since birth / Through meeting the dolphins she learned to walk

Dilsah Sue is nine years old. She can walk, chew by herself and focus with her eyes. She lets herself be touched and makes noises. That was not always the case. 5 years ago the girl was tube-fed. The Doctors had no hope. But Dilsah Sue dumbfounded all prognoses.

Five years ago the ‘Neue Westfälische’ reported the lot of the little girl for the first time. Dilsah Sue’s family were trying to collect enough money for a Dolphin Therapy. Many people donated and made the alternative treatment possible, which radically changed the life of the family.

Dilsah Sue was a planned child for whom her parents, who do not wish to be named, had waited for 9 years. In the sixth month of pregnancy the Doctors diagnosed a diaphragm hernia. As a result the organs slip into the stomach area and compress the lungs. “We did not know how ill our daughter would be, even if she would survive until birth”, said her mother.
