My name is Roy Kolmer from the Netherlands living nearby Den Haag. Me and my family were swimming in your dolphin therapy center in May 2016. Our stay was booked on the name of Harrie and Marleen Kolmer . I’m the son of these great parents!

What you don’t know is that I’m a Bosnia war veteran with PTSD and that I got wounded when I was 17 years old. Swimming with the dolphin means very much to me. Although I’m participating in a long time therapy for soldiers with PTSD this session helped me more than all the sessions which I have had in the last 15 to 20 years.

Real change for Dennis after dolphin therapy

Dear Barbara, I would like to express all my thanks for the great work of you and your therapy team. This time I felt a real change for myself, not only that Dennis is more attentive but also for my behaviour in relation to him.

Emanuel-Syndrome: Leon’s dolphin therapy report

We really miss the lovely time we had in Kemer and hope that we can come again in the coming years.

At the weekend we met fanilies who also had children with Emanuel syndrome, like my son Leon. That was very interesting and a large number of these families had also decided to give this therapy a try. Everyone was impressed with Leon’s development and the great therapies with you played a big part in that.

Apart from that, Leon is doing very well in school. He did find it difficult at first but now he’s really getting on well with it. He is communicating more and using a mixture of gestures and speech. We are constantly amazed at how much he can really understand and achieve.

Dolphin Therapy improves Concentration and Fine Motor Skills in Sophie

The Dolphin Therapy for Sophie the end of September/beginning of October 2014 was very enjoyable for all of us. The therapy was successful. Sophie’s body is no longer quite so tense. Her gait pattern is improved, she is able to concentrate better, and also her fine motor skills, for instance when coloring, are vastly improved.

Olivia’s therapy exceeded our expectations

Olivia had dolphin therapy in September 2014. Our expectations were not high, I just hoped, that even if I do not see changes in her behavior, maybe something changes inside her. I have off and dad too, Leni and Hanni have to go to school. At home we get everything ready for Turkey. As promised, Hanni may cut dad’s hair. She opts for a short hairstyle with BD logo for Big Daddy at the back. In the evening there is a school concert of Hanni and Leni in the City Theatre. Hanni plays horn and Leni plays tuba. Dolphin therapy for Jillian

Jillian is a girl suffering from a genetic error on the 23rd chromosome. She is not able to talk (she can only make phonetic sounds) and has strong muscle hypotonia as well as a mental disability. She did her second dolphin therapy in summer 2012 – after we already made a really positive experience in 2009 we did not go into the second therapy with all too great expectations.

For me it was already the sixth dolphin therapy back to back. It was a little bit exhausting for me because I was having either physiotherapy or cranial therapy afterwards. The therapy has always helped me very much after six months. Then I was also able to concentrate more easily and to improve my ability to learn.
