So, a few months have passed by and now it is time for our report of my second dolphin therapy from 25.07.-08.08.09 in the ONMEGA-Dolphin therapy center in Kemer!!!
We liked the dolphin therapy center very much in 2008 and so we decided to go to Kemer again.
Everyone was really friendly and excellent in what they did, whether it was the therapists, trainer or trainees. Last year I was an exception because normally they accept only children from the age of two. I like animals and water so I had a great time and was impressed with the trainer. I have made progress since the therapy in 2008 and this year I hope to make more.

Firstly I have to apologise for only writing now. I have been adjusting to being a stay-at-home-work-from-home mom. The time has just flown by and suddenly its been almost 5 moths since we were in Kemer. For us it feels like it was a life time ago but also like it was yesterday – we are very nostalgic and look at our pictures and talk about our time there all the time. Janina’s Dolphin Therapy in Kemer turkey from 29.09. – 13.10.2008
My name is Janina and I am 11 years old. Because of my spasticity and weak muscles I visited the dolphins in Kemer from 29.09. to 13.10. 2008. On Tuesday, one day after we arrived at the Hotel Mares, we began the therapy starting with an introduction to the therapists. My Dad and I had to answer questions concerning my disability. Having recorded all the information they prepared a course of therapies based on my disability.
In the mornings dolphin therapy and in the afternoons speech or physio therapy. On Wednesday morning I had my first therapy session. My dolphin was called Daisy. We would like to report about our experiences, impressions and the resulting success of our dolphin therapy. Our dream to have a dolphin therapy was finally fulfilled on 07.07.2007!
For years it had been our wish to engage our daughter Sarina, who has multiple disabilities, in a dolphin therapy. We had heard so many positive things about the effects a dolphin therapy can have and experienced it with other children, so naturally we wanted to enable Sarina to participate in such a wonderful experience and give her the chance of betterment with her handicap. So here finally our report from Hoofddorp.
We waited a long time before writing our experience report about Kay’s dolphin therapy in August 2007. We wanted to see what effects it would have throughout the months following therapy.
Kay, a multiple complex disabled, 16 year old boy, experienced months of pain after a hip operation in June 2006 because of medical egligence. Because of this, Kay lost all trust in his own body which led to muscle tension with a Scoliose-development of 65 degrees. Read the rest of this entry »

We were able to visit the Dolphin Therapy Centre in Kemer for a second time this year.We knew beforehand that the Therapy Centre had to move and we were very interested to see what changes had been made. At last the time had arrived and on 16.06.2008 we made an early morning start from Cologne to Dalaman. As on our previous visit a Transfer was awaiting us at the airport to take us to the hotel. Hello Barbara !
It took a while, but now we have a lot to report. Firstly, I hope you and your colleagues are doing well and that you all had a good start into the new year. We have a very turbulent time behind us because Michael has been sick a lot.Otherwise he is doing great though.
-He walks very well holding our hand. He sometimes lets go and yesterday for the first time he stood on his own for about 30seconds and did this several more times. -Michaels understanding of language has improved and his reaction time following requests has shortened.

Dear Axel,
Sorry for not responding earlier, but unfortunately Antea was ill and we spent a week in the hospital. She had high fever and a convulsion, which we could not resolve at home. Now she is at home hopefully for the final stage of recovery.
About the effects of the therapy: I should start seeing them now as Dr Igor told me, but unfortunately because of the illness it may be delayed. But I can write to you about my experience of the therapy….you may also show my email address but I don’t check my mailbox regularly…
We spent a lovely two week vacation in Kas, turkey, with my daughter experiencing Dolphin Therapy for 10 days. My daughter suffered lack of oxygen prior to birth and now she is retarded in physical and mental development. Read the rest of this entry »
