Hello Barbara !

It took a while, but now we have a lot to report. Firstly, I hope you and your colleagues are doing well and that you all had a good start into the new year. We have a very turbulent time behind us because Michael has been sick a lot.Otherwise he is doing great though.
-He walks very well holding our hand. He sometimes lets go and yesterday for the first time he stood on his own for about 30seconds and did this several more times. -Michaels understanding of language has improved and his reaction time following requests has shortened.
-He is a lot more alert, very enthusiatic about learning new things and extremely mad when he can’t succeed at new things he is trying
Overall, it is as if he has skipped one year of development. His therapists at home are also thrilled.

Our stay in turkey is a topic every day and when we talk about dolphins or about vacation he says PLEASE (which means he wants to go again) and he smiles. Today we sent our booking for 6. until 20. September 2008. I hope and wish that Michael will be treated by you again. He has you, Daisy and Violetta in his heart. Not a day goes by where he doesn’t ask for a story about the three of you. We look forward to seeing you again in September!
