New report from Jessica Stock
Hello Barbara,
at long last I found time at the weekend to write down our therapy report. If there are any more changes then naturally I’ll let you know.
😉
We’re having a really fun time with Jessica at the moment – and she is so cheeky too!
Yesterday she threw me out of her Grandma’s saying that she had decided to spend the night there. It is super how she can make herself understood.
We are getting a special supportive shoe for walking and a children’s rolling walker. We’ll see how she comes to terms with that.
I hope all of you are keeping well in Turkey. Is it still so hot?
Or hotter?
With best wishes,
Silke Stock

Our Therapy Report for the 2nd dolphin therapy of Jessica Sophie Stock from 27. June to 11. July 2009:
Dear Dolphin-Team,
“We think that we will definitely be seeing each other again soon as we have decided to attend dolphin therapy again, this time at the new location.“
… that was a sentence taken from our last therapy report from October 2007. And at the end of June 2009 we returned to Turkey.
The University of Washington in Seattle has in the meantime discovered that Jessica’s ailment, the Coach-Syndrome, is a metabolic illness initiated by a genetic defect. Unfortunately a genetic defect is incurable. We are at the moment trying to get used to the idea.
Jessica celebrated her 5th birthday in turkey this year. She still cannot speak or move about. Mentally she is quite fit, she understands everything and her coordination has improved very much lately.
Following our first dolphin therapy in October 2007 the following improvements became apparent: Jessica has become really self confident! And she has lost her fear of her environment. How she communicates with hands and feet is phenomenal. Such a small person – but she knows exactly what she wants and woe betide if she doesn’t get her way. So small but so stubborn.
Barbara, our therapist, who knew Jessica from the very first day, also noticed the changes. They both had a lot of fun during the therapy.
Opposed to our first therapy Jessica was not afraid of our dolphin „Daisy“ nor of the water nor of what was expected of her. She straight away joined in the therapy fully concentrated. It was a joy to watch them. Also everything worked well with Puni with the Cranio-Sacral-Therapy and Ramona with the Myoreflex-Therapy.
At home, even now, Jessica enthusiastically watches the videos and looks at the photos.
Which improvements have been made since the second therapy we cannot say at present; we are hopefully waiting for noticeable changes. One thing is certain: the continuous positive changes in the development of our daughter are easily discernible and both therapies were a wonderful experience for us. Let’s see, maybe we’ll be seeing each other for a third time…….
Anyway, it was a joy to work with such a great team.
We would like to express our special thanks to Barbara (Therapist), Amy (Trainer) and naturally Daisy (Dolphin). As also to all the other very nice people that we met: Mike, Ramona, Puni, Irina, Nora … and naturally also a big thanks to Axel Linke.
We wish you further strength and patience for your work, the children need you.
God bless you,
from Bavaria,
Jessica, Silke and Mike
