Dworschak Family about Therapies with Dolphins

After long preparation we decided to follow up our successful dolphin therapy in Kas in 2006 with a dolphin therapy in Antalya in 2007. We met two families in Kas that were also thrilled from their therapy and we decided to travel to Antalya together in 2007 for another therapy! Said and Done! On the 11.08.2007 the three of us began our trip, two families with Rett-Syndrome-girls and one family with Florian, who till then did not have a diagnosis. This therapy exceeded our expectations in regards to the success the therapy would have!

As we did not have a comparison to Kas, we were taught better in Antalya.The therapy with the dolphin Frosia was a full success!

From the beginning our daughter Sonja had no problems handling Frosia and also the dolphin therapist Mrs. Dr. Dragunova and the dolphin trainer Koko had no fears and got along great with our daughter who is very autoaggressive.

Frosia accepted Sonja well and even put up with a few “boxing fights”. We documented the happiness that Sonja had when with the dolphin, from the first to the last hour on several pictures. No comparison with Kas, where the dolphin was not around as much.
We want to point out the wonderful hippo therapy that is practised with love and dedication by Salih Kandemir (Hippotherapist) and his wife Mrs. Dr. Kleine Wieskamp-Kandemir.

Back at home we immediately looked for a hippo therapy, but it is no match for the one practised there! We had booked a bungalow with a double room, but at our arrival it had not been fully cleaned. The hotel manager immediately offered us a hotelsuite with an ocean view which we happily accepted after viewing it. We did not regret it as we found the hotel rooms more comfortable than the bungalows.

But that is not why we came to Antalya! We came for the therapy! And it was GREAT!

In Conclusion: Best therapy, best price, very good!

We want to come back in 2 years when we’ve saved the money. Success: Sonja shows interest in different toys. Can differentiate between the dolphin therapy in Kas and the one in Antalya. Cuddles with mom and dad, is more concentrated and shows her own will, which we think is great. Sits great on the horse at the Hippo therapy here, without stopping, alone on the horse!!!!
