The young girl could not stand on her own legs. After two weeks of Dolphin Therapy great progress has been made.
Manuela Lenuweit is a happy woman. Without a doubt. The 47 year-old is tanned, the worried look in her eyes has given way to laughter wrinkles and her demeanour radiates newly-won strength. Manuela Lenuweit is above all a happy mother. The mother of eight year-old Victoria, for whom people in Priestewitz, Großenhain and other towns and villages donated a lot of money.
The Situation was a great burden
A fund-raising campaign mounted by the SZ local editorial office in Großenhain and the Priestewitz community raised over 15.000 Euros. The dolphin therapy in Antalya, Turkey, cost 9450 Euros which the family were unable to pay. „That was a blow for my husband“, said Frau Lenuweit. „He was always working but so much money was not available for our little one. The situation was continually a burden for us.“ Since the time this was publicized in the SZ on 5 May the life of the worried parents changed considerably. Victoria has made progress, is more balanced and in August was able to kneel. An event for the parents that was like Easter, Birthday and Christmas all on one day.
Then the time arrived. After all the hope and years of waiting the Lenuweits began packing. On September 2 they flew to Turkey. Along with the luggage were not only Summer clothes and toys but also especially lots of wishes. Looking at Manuela Lenuweit today, one can see that these wishes all came true. „Victoria had surprisingly no problems with settling down. Already on the second day she had adjusted to the routines of the Hotel and Therapy Center“, she said. A strictly organized course that, for the blonde girl who is organically healthy, meant a lot of hard work. In the mornings there was Cranio Sacral therapy – a procedure which involves manual pressure on the skull and sacrum. Read the rest of this entry »

Dolphin Therapy with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Posted by Dolphin Therapy Team in Therapy Testimonials3 Comments »/I wanted to write of my time at the therapy centre in Antalya, and to thank you all again for the wonderful care, and attention, you gave me.
From the very start of my inquiry into Dolphin Therapy, I recieved very compassionate, and detailed, care from Turgay. Within one week of my first email, we had a program made up for me, and I am not exactly a “usual” case for this type of therapy. I sought this therapy for myself, not for a child. I’d heard that Dolphin Therapy could be successful in helping sufferers of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and I was desparate to see if it could help me. Read the rest of this entry »

Phil´s 2nd Trip to the Dolphins
Posted by Dolphin Therapy Team in Therapy TestimonialsNo Comments »/As we had such memorable experiences in 2009 in the Onmega Center, we decided to repeat the adventure a second time. After the first time he began to speak, became generally more open and self confident. This time we flew to Antalya without any expectations, just thought we would see what happens this time. Phil and his Papa flew first, my young son Nick and I flew a week later. (with Grandma and Grandpa for support). It was like coming home, as if we had never left. Phil this time had Flip, Barbara, Christina and Cynthia as his therapeutic Team, Beata, Sema and Julia dealt with the „stiff joints“. Right from the beginning Phil was not anxious at all and looked forward to working with everyone each day. Especially singing with Flip, dancing with him and driving „water taxi“ gave him much joy. At the end he used the „magic word“ all on his own. He quickly became more confident, used longer sentences and personal pronouns („we/“us“). But the best was: He could pronounce „sch“, for which we had waited so long (before it was „Fiff“ oder „Hüppe“). His favourite word is now „SCHön“ J. We are more than happy about the further progress our son made in the therapy. Read the rest of this entry »

Therapy Report Dominik Turkey 2011
Posted by Dolphin Therapy Team in Therapy TestimonialsNo Comments »/Dominik‘s Therapy was a wonderful time which brought about big changes. Dominik got on well with the therapists who cared for him, and naturally us too. We were very competently counselled and received a hearty welcome. We felt quite at home. Dominik can move his left hand much better than beforehand. Moreover he can stand up with support. His muscular system is much more relaxed. Dominik can pass various things from his left hand to his right and back again. His torso rotation has also improved. He can stand with support and walk in his trainer. The work of the therapists, the personnel and Dominik has initiated these changes.
We, the family, especially Dominik, give again a big thanks to Frau Weis, for enabling us this opportunity.

Report about Dolphin Therapy Center in Antalya
Posted by Dolphin Therapy Team in Therapy TestimonialsNo Comments »/Hello my dears,
just a few words from me about the dolphin therapy in Antalya, Turkey, for the three children. I paid a surprise visit to the parents in Turkey in order to personally view some of the children‘s therapies.
As I (with a friend) arrived three days before the parents, I was able to see everything beforehand and have everything explained.
During the very hearty welcome from Herr Axel Linke (Manager of the Therapy Center) and all the therapists and doctors, I was also given permission to take a look at everything and all my questions were given honest answers. I was already certain that „my“ children were in the best hands here and would be cared for by very well-schooled therapists and doctors. Read the rest of this entry »
Dolphin Therapy of Jacqueline
Posted by Dolphin Therapy Team in Therapy TestimonialsNo Comments »/Sooo, I have unfortunately had no time to write here about the course of the therapy and its successes. Forgive me for this, but other things had to be done first…
This was the state of things BEFOREHAND:
We have a daughter suffering from Epilepsy, she had various treatments at home before the therapy but with little success. She cannot walk, crawl or sit by herself. She waves her hands, waves them so long until she touches something to grasp. Her glance was not fixated. Her eating behaviour is also very bad. She has problems with her posture and sits in a wheel chair.
Then came the two weeks in Mamaris…
The therapists were very nice and Jacqueline was also enthusiastic. Our little one received Physio, Riding and Dolphin Therapy. Physio alternated with Riding therapy in the morning. Dolphin therapy was DAILY! Read the rest of this entry »
Family Jehle
Posted by Dolphin Therapy Team in Therapy TestimonialsNo Comments »/Hello dear Axel Linke, dear Dolphin Team !
We arrived back safely in cold Germany-thank god I am nearly over my fear of flying, I was even looking out of the window all the time and I was impressed with the view!! Was that the dolphins? The luggage is unpacked, the washing maschine is on, Bernd is back at work, Simon is mowing the lawn and is looking after the horses and Tobias has to work this evening. He is trying to make friends with cats after I said to him they are little dolphins with hair and he should give them a chance. Maybe, thanks to Flip, he will lose his dislike of cats.
