The therapy is carried out in the DORTNAL Riding School (“4 Horseshoe”) Ranch.
This is 18 kms. distant from the Therapy Centre. It is set in a green valley in natural surroundings. The seclusion, Nature and peace are very important for the therapy. The accompanying family members can also relax and recuperate in the peaceful atmosphere.
The Riding School Team consists of the Turkish riding teacher and owner, Salih Kandemir, and his German wife Dr. med. Felizitas Kandemir.
The Riding School teacher has 30 years experience in his work with horses. He studied Hippo therapy abroad and has applied it in his riding school for many years.
The riding school has eight very well-trained horses, some of which are especially suitable for Hippo therapy and Remedial Pedagogical Riding.
