Emilys Dolphin Therapy
On monday we arrived at home again. Unforunately, our fears came true, and Emily became sick. We barely arrived at home when the fever started, which was our introduction to the autumn holidays. But we still very much again enjoyed the time with you.
The appointment at the Dolphin Center this year was a little bit like coming home. We didn’t expect to see so many familiar faces and such a frienly welcoming. Emily was shining like the sun when she discovered Daniil and the dolphins. For us parents, it was very nice to see how happy Emily was about the first contact with Daisy. Se climbed on Daniil’s arm without any hesitation and had no need for support from Mom and Dad when she had her first therapy session.
This year, Emily was also significantly more cooperative, at least during the dolphin therapy 😉 During physiotherapy though, our little diva did show from time to time that puberty is around the corner. But Yagmur overcame even these obstacles and didn’t let herself be softened up by her. She kept motivating Emily to keep going and gave us valuable tips for life at home. During the therapy sessions with Daisy, Flip and Frosia, Emily kept making progress. Her posture of the head improved again, and she was using her arms and hands much more precise than before
Daniil was also showing us exercises that we would be able to use at home with Emily. And even though Emily had to do a lot of work during her therapy sessions, the trip wasn’t short of fun and relaxation. We as parents too are starting into everyday life, recharged and replenished. We thank you for everything you did for us, and hope that we can see each other again soon.
Best wishes from Silke, Andre and Emily Geisler.
